The Higgs Boson is a particle that gives weight to protons. It has been predicted by the Standard Model of Particle Physics. The Standard Model describes the elementary particles and forces that make up everything (the model predicted the existence of: charm, bottom, top tau neutrino, W, Z, and gluon before they were found experimentally). Super colliders try to find the Higgs Boson experimentally by smashing protons together repeatedly and look at the exploded bits with statistical analysis.

Pt. Reyes for the Win

Yosemite For a Night

Greetings,

Jill, Jessica and I went for a quick one night trip to Yosemite. We took one day to drive around and see the sights of the valley. That night we camped in the park and the following day we did a hike at Hetch Hetchy. Good times it was. And oh so pretty.
