The weather is one constant between nature and the city, it’s what binds the two together. When I’m in the city I enjoy being in the rain. It’s nature’s way of being everywhere. I would like to take more pictures of rain, but I don’t really want a wet camera, so it’s difficult.
Mostly in the city we have our cars, homes, offices, waterproof gear, and umbrellas to protect us from the weather. For me watching the rain come down is like a momentary escape from the city and time. It awakens a more primal part of my being.
